Naegele's rule

Due date is estimated by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last menstrual period. If your cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days, the date is adjusted automatically.

Three trimesters

First trimester: weeks 1-13, second: 14-27, third: 28-40. Each stage has important developments for both you and the baby, and recommended checks vary by stage.

Ultrasound accuracy

First-trimester ultrasound is the most accurate method for estimating gestational age. If you have a scan report, use the ultrasound tab for a more precise result.
